International Product Safety & Restricted Substances Seminar
Chennai, India
November 12

Apparel and footwear brands alike are challenged with ensuring that dynamic, U.S. government regulations, in particular the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), and other restricted substances standards are clearly communicated throughout the supply chain. AAFA travels to India for its first-ever conference, bringing brands and their suppliers together with retailers and industry experts for an in-depth discussion of product safety regulations, new testing requirements, utilization of AAFA's Restricted Substances List, U.S. and European retailer concerns and the consequences of non-compliance.

Collaborating with the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the AFIRM Group, and the World Federation Sporting Goods Industry, the AAFA will host seminars November 12 in Chennai, and November 18, New Delhi, (co-locating at the International Apparel Federation’s World Conference.)
